“My Career” Center solves the problem of employment of socially vulnerable categories of the population, including people with disabilities, youth, women raising minor children, representatives of the older generation (50+) and members of low-income families with children.

Accompanied employment technology for people with disabilities. The center’s specialists create a personalized CV for the applicant, prepare a cover letter for a potential employer, call there, arrange an interview, and if necessary accompany the applicant for an interview. Each employed job seeker is supervised by a specialist throughout the probationary period, and if necessary, even more. In 2020, the center provided more than 1.5 thousand services to people with disabilities.
Assistance program for low-income families, taking into account the social opportunities of the city. Individual actions are taken with each family to improve the competitiveness of the applicant in the labor market and identify barriers to employment. A retraining course or a place with a convenient work schedule is selected for parents. Children receive a priority place in a nursery or kindergarten. If necessary, the center helps to get a sick relative in a round-the-clock hospital. At the same time, in case of the successful employment of a parent, all benefits and allowances due to low-income citizens are paid for 3 years. In 2020, 9.8 thousand people applied to the “My Career” Center to participate in the pilot project, and were offered about 13 thousand vacancies. About 2 thousand job seekers were employed within the framework of the pilot project. In 2021, following the results of the pilot project, a social contract will be launched.
Open University for the Development of Modern Human Skills. Social development and adaptation of citizens to modern conditions, increasing their competitiveness and success in the labor market. The uniqueness of the technology lies in the development of soft/flexible skills closely related to personal qualities, not directly related to the performance of work duties, but affecting the results of work. In 2020, more than 34 thousand people became participants of about 1300 trainings and webinars.
“Summer in a new format”. ”My Career” Center organizes free summer employment programs for teenagers, such as “Leto Moei Karyeri”, “PRO Heroes”, and paid internships. Young Muscovites have the opportunity to learn more about the most relevant professions, try on one of them, participate in the creation of a significant urban project and get their first work experience. In 2020, about 3 thousand boys and girls from 14 to 17 years old took part in the “Summer in a New Format” programs.
Support program for volunteers and socially oriented NPOs. “My Career” Center implements the program “Moscow is a Good City”, within the framework of which there are two areas: support and development of NPO, and the second is social volunteering. Constant cooperation has been established with 250 socially oriented non-profit (self-regulatory organization) organizations implementing more than 800 projects in the social sphere. In 2020, “My Career” Center acted as the operator of the selection of socially oriented non-profit organizations (SRO NPO), which received 50 premises with a total area of 11 thousand square meters for free use for three years. With the introduction of the self-isolation regime, the headquarters of the volunteers of the My Social Assistant project was formed on the basis of the “My Career” Center. About 5.5 thousand volunteers are registered in the center’s database and participate in volunteer events in the city.

”My Career” Center specialists provide an expanded range of services for motivated candidates who are experiencing difficulties in finding a job: career advice, selection of vacancies according to the need, career guidance, preparation of individual career scenarios, which may include vocational training and trainings for the development of personal competencies, including skills in interviewing, self-presentation, etc. The center has a number of adapted programs that take into account the characteristics of a certain category of citizens:

“Boost your career”. Assistance in building a career for citizens from 14 to 30 years old, assistance in mastering skills in demand in the labor market.
“Available Job”.Assistance in professional development and employment of people with disabilities.
“Mom works.” Assistance in education and job search for mothers during their parental leave, support for business projects that allow to have a stable income without interrupting the upbringing of children.
“Project of additional measures to increase the income of Moscow families”. It is addressed to families with children with an income below the subsistence level per person who are ready to work and agree to follow the recommendations of the consultant.

“Partner Employer”.A community of partner employers with whom we develop and implement joint projects aimed at finding employment and improving the living standards of Moscow families. The main task of the service is to create a market for socially responsible employers.
“Self-employment and Entrepreneurship”.We help to unleash entrepreneurial potential, find new opportunities for implementing experience and provide sources of basic or additional income. We develop professional competencies and skills of a modern person necessary for entrepreneurship.
“Self-development”.A series of video tutorials on self-presentation, communication with an employer, emotional intelligence, financial literacy and other topics for those who want to develop useful skills for employment without leaving home.

We have four children in our family. We were sorely short of money: for clothes, food, toys. My husband and I were completely desperate. We decided that something needed to be changed urgently. We learned about the existence of the “My Career” Center from the Internet and began to attend all classes on effective employment. We learned how to pass an interview, how to write a CV and better present yourself to an employer. This gave us a great start. Thanks to the knowledge we received during the consultations, my husband and I managed to find a job to our liking.
