Smart School Pro platform

Smart School Pro is a platform constituting an integrated solution for pre-school facilities, making them able to chart a custom development trajectory for each child.

The project’s target audience includes kindergartens, schools, as well as regional and municipal education management bodies.   

The platform users are kindergarten managers (principals), teachers, staff (psychologists, instructors, speech therapists) and the children’s parents (legal guardians). Various user categories on the platform have varying access rights:

— A manager (principal) can view all the pre-school facility’s modules and groups (current and archived data, analytics, communications, etc.); 

— A methodologist, in addition to the manager functionality, can set up teachers’ monitoring parameters and make group schedules;

— A teacher can view, add, edit data for their group, but not for other groups;

— A parent can see all the information pertaining to their child, and in some cases add new data like medical certificates, documents, manage representatives authorized to pick the child up from kindergarten, etc.;

— The facility administrator has the broadest set of rights, including the right to set up access for other users.

The platform collects in a single window all the group and child data, including:

• Documents, contracts;

• Personal schedules and daily reports;

• Health information, limitations on diet and physical exercise;

• Information on authorized persons who can pick the child up upon providing their ID;

• Information on teachers working with child/group;

• Diagnostics and monitoring results (pictures and video reports).

The platform can combine any groups or lists based on the input data, thanks to the filter function. The platform functions can be used in primary school.

Unique features

The platform has a unique function, i.e. psychological and physical development diagnostics for every child. The diagnostics are provided for 6 age groups (2 to 7 years) along 15 development vectors. More information about the diagnostics structure is available in Smart School Pro presentation.

After finishing diagnostics, the system draws up the conclusion and the development chart, and gives a chance to compare individual results against the age norm, similar to medical tests.  

Smart School Pro diagnostics gives a pre-school facility a real opportunity to chart a personal development trajectory for each child. Compare that to manual diagnostics that can only be done by qualified professionals that can’t always be found in each pre-school facility. The diagnostics earned praises from the professional community, and is in high demand among both teachers and parents.

Additionally, the platform helps us automate the teachers’ monitoring process, manage it, collect and analyze data for various periods, compare the performance of different methods and programs. A teacher fills in a group check-list, and the system generates a group conclusion and individual conclusions automatically, highlighting the children in need of extra attention in various activity types.   

The data received through diagnostics and monitoring can help chart children’s personal development trajectories, figure out their capabilities (resources), deficits and individual traits.

From the technical point of view, the platform is a cloud service with a modular structure (each facility can choose the modules they need). The platform uses integrated data entry; its technical functions allow management of other users’ personal settings. It’s easy to use, has an intuitive interface and convenient navigation system.
